Private Dining
Our inspiration
Named in honour of Henry Harben, a prominent supporter of women’s suffrage and an important figure in the right to vote campaign, the Harben Room carries forward The Pem’s spirit of courage, conviction and progress. Elegant, discreet and intimate, it offers a distinctive setting for private lunches, dinners and celebrations. In Romy Gill’s new chapter, this legacy is especially resonant. Her philosophy centres on generous hospitality, meaningful connection and championing women’s voices, reflected in her commitment to working with female-led producers and suppliers.
A space for sharing
Guests can gather privately, share vibrant regional Indian dishes and create new memories in a room shaped by purpose, warmth and history. The Harben Room is designed for connection, making it equally suited to intimate celebrations, private dinners and larger group gatherings. Reflecting Romy Gill’s philosophy of Neemat, meaning blessing, bounty and abundance, the experience is generous, sociable and unhurried. Food is passed around the table, stories are exchanged and every occasion feels personal. It is a space where shared plates become shared experiences, bringing people together through hospitality, flavour and a lasting sense of belonging.
